The Austin Grief Meetup sponsored by My Healing Place
|
My Healing Place (www.myhealingplace. org) is a non-profit in Austin devoted to helping people through grief, loss and trauma with the help of support groups. These groups are led by a trained volunteer and all groups are given FREE of charge. In addition, child care is provided at no charge for children under the age of five years, though reservations are required to access this service. We currently have groups available for children who have lost a parent and adults who have lost a spouse, motherless daughters, and a widow/widowers group. We will create new grief groups that meet your needs. Please join us to help gain support from people who have experienced a similar loss to your own. We meet twice a month on Tuesdays in Central Austin. Again, there is NO CHARGE for our services. We are here to help. We hope to hear from you soon.
